He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Welch and Loriane "Pat" Welch (Dezort); his brother Michael Welch Jr.; and his in-laws, George, Barbara Huth, Robert and Joan Werleu.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Welch (Werlau); his sons, William Welch Jr. (Corinne) of Highland, NY and Craig Welch (Heather) of Highland, NY.; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Emma, Addison, Dylan and Owen Welch; and his siblings, Pamela Welch of Florida and Patrick Welch of Wallkill.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the West Esopus Landowners Association.
