He is survived by: his son Matthew (Dianne) of Newburgh; his wife Carole Pillius of New Paltz; his little buddy Izzy; his granddaughters, Deanna and Gina Pillius of Marlboro; and his siblings, Barbara Arlotta of Middletown and John J. Pillius (Hazel) of Missouri. He is also survived by His brother and sister in law as well as additional nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
