He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Tierney and Elizabeth Tierney; and his wife Nancy Jean Coddingtion. He is survived by: his daughter Cornelia Traynor (Paul) of Saratoga Springs, NY; his grandson Liam Traynor; and his brothers, Louis Tierney (Eleanor) and Michael Tierney (Julie) of New Paltz, NY. He is also survived by Brother and sister in-laws, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
