It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kim Sweeney (New Paltz, New York), who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Murphy and Norma Murphy; and her son Hobart Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Mike Sweeney; her children, Timothy, Michael, Kevin and Kathleen; her grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Tommy, Brady and Lainey; and her siblings, Patricia Mitchell, Timothy, Michael and David Murphy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (34 S Chestnut St, New Paltz, NY 12561).
