He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ignatz Garger and Rosie Garger (Huber); and his siblings, Hans Garger and Rosie Garger. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Garger; his daughters, Christine Garger of Poughkeepsie, NY and Karen Mumford (Kevin Mumford) of New Paltz, NY; his grandchildren, Cole and Addison Mumford of New Paltz, NY; and his brother-in-law Rudolph Stewart (Brenda) of Warwick, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Karl's name to the Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Drive, Kingston, New York 12401.
