He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Elsie Bates Heckler; his children, Adam Zielinski, Kurt Zielinski and Kristy Zielinski; his siblings, Ronald Zielinski and Barbara Jewett; his son Joseph H Zielinski; and his significant other Connie Roberts. He was also cherished by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
