She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Thors and Aili Thors (Leino); her husband Richard A. Impola; and her cousins, Mae Kaven (Leino) and Miriam Eldridge (Leino).
She is survived by: her children, Tom Impola (Justine Goerlick) of High Falls, NY, Paul Impola (Pam) and Karen Impola (David Gibson) of Cedar Falls, IA; and her grandchildren, Hanna Gibson and Leo Gibson of Cedar Falls, IA..
