He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Palmeri and Angela Palmeri (D'Elia); his grandsons, Patrick Estes and Jared Pratt; and his brother Salvatore Palmeri.
He is survived by: his former wife Helen Grano; his wife Helen Palmeri (Grano); his children, Donna M. Kelly (Mike) of Congers, NY, Laura Palmeri Estes (Bill) of Naperville, IL, Maryanne C. Hart (Norbert) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Elaine V. Pratt (Jeff) of Rio Rancho, NM, Richard J. Palmeri of Yorktown Heights, NY and Christopher Palmeri of New Paltz, NY; his sister Josephine Collins of Wayne, NJ; his grandchildren, Maureen Clerkin (Kevin), Richard Jr., Briana Palmeri, Christopher, Timothy (Alyssa), Kathryn Kelly, Angela, Dominique Estes, Kristin, Rebecca, Joseph Palmeri, Jacqueline, Nicholas and Daniel Hart; his great grandchild Anna Grace Clerkin; and his brother-in-law Richard Grano (Diane) of Newark, DE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
