She is survived by: her brother John; her friend Boots; her husband Armando Santiago Lavergneau; her close friend Marylyn; her daughter Aimée Janel; her granddaughter Mara Gabrielle; her daughter Phi Beta Sigma; her great-niece Arianna; her grandsons, Derrick and Daniel; her daughter Mara; her son-in-law Derrick; her grandsons, Derrick, II and Brandon; her siblings, Rick, Shakti Butler Diane, Butch Boyd, David, Wendy Butler and Michelle Butler; her sister-in-law Leslie Butler Barron; her nieces, Reina and Arianna Butler; and her adoptive daughters, Lisa Lukic and Chien Gardner.
There, Mara and Derrick welcomed, nurtured and assisted Beverly in the care of Armando who was rapidly declining from the advanced stages of Lewy Body Alzheimer's disease.
