With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shelley Russ-Salem of New Lebanon, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shelley had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shelley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Salem; her daughters, Beth Megan Salem of Sheridan, OR and Julia Rachel Salem Emrick of Pleasantville, NY; her grandchildren, Sophie Mae Eurell, Leiv Benjamin Emrick and Norah Louise Emrick; and her brother Michael Russ (Karen Hof) of Kerhonkson, NY. She is also survived by sister- and brother-in-laws and more than a few nieces, nephews.
She would be pleased if any donations in her memory were made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, or similar organization, the Lebanon Valley Historical Society and/or New Lebanon Library.
