With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Newton F. Perkins Jr. of New Lebanon, New York, born in Foster, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 7, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Perkins and Julia Cornell Perkins; his wife Margaret Murphy; his grandson Samuel Cooper; and his sister Marjie Hammond.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Cooper Ryley, Gary Perkins, Craig Perkins, Mark Perkins and Scott Perkins; his grandsons, Benjamin Cooper, Matthew Cooper and Jacob Perkins; his great grandchildren, Kaya Cooper, Cassie Cooper, Clover Cooper, Julia Cooper, Nathaniel Cooper and Hannah Perkins; and his sister Eleanor Tatagolia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Columbia-Greene Humane Society, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in his memory. Donations CANNOT be made online, but may be made through the Dwyer Funeral Home.
