It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ingrid Spark (New Hyde Park, New York), who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ingrid may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm and Katharina; and her sister Marlene. She is survived by: her husband Hinrich Spark; her sons, Kenneth (Sarah) and Henry (Michelle); her grandsons, Christopher, William and Matthew; and her siblings, Manfred (Renate), Helmut and Helga. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home (506 Lakeville Rd, New Hyde Park, NY 11040). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Time Pending New Hyde Park Funeral Home (506 Lakeville Rd, New Hyde Park, NY 11040).
