He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell E. Sturtz Jr. and Ethel Berniece Winters Sturtz; his son Matthew Sturtz; and his brother Michael Sturtz. He is survived by: his wife Martha Searles Sturtz; his sons, Russell Sturtz (Sara), Kenneth Sturtz and New Haven; his sister Martha Owen (David); and his granddaughters, Olivia Sturtz and Charlotte Sturtz.
