He was predeceased by: his spouse Frances Linder. He is survived by: his parents, William H. and Mildred Gerling (Schrepple); his son Jeffry Gerling; his daughter-in-law Suzanne of New Hartford; his children, Karen Popka and Joshua of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, Shirley Tallman and Mike Gerling; and also, Jason of Atlanta, GA, Nicholas of Syracuse, Ryan and Krista of Vernon Center.
