He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Abbass and Elizabeth Abbass (Anton); his siblings, Richard Abbass and Elaine Abbass Lanza; and his siblings-in-law, J. C. Waszkiewicz and Nancy Abbass.
He is survived by: his wife Joni Abbass (Waszkiewicz); his children, Philip S. Abbass Jr. of Phoenix, AZ and Lisa Marie (Walker) of Graham, NC; his grandchildren, Calvin Abbass, Christopher Abbass, Randy Ling (Tabby) and Tammy Neese; his siblings, David Abbass, Fay Abbass (Anne), Yvonne Lavoie of Rhode Island, Kathy Allen of Clinton, NY, Bethanne Abbass of Dallas, TX and Lorraine "Lorry" of Manhattan, CA; his siblings-in-law, Chris Abbass, Pamela Ellerton (John), Barabara Waszkiewicz and Jim Lanza; and his caregivers, Kim Santomassino, Chelsea, Natalie and Jeanne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services (13 Oxford Rd, New Hartford, NY 13413). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Holy Trinity Cemetery (1500 Champlin Ave, Yorkville, NY 13495).
