With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nicholas S. Peters Jr. of New Hartford, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Nicholas S. Peters, Sr. and Lucy Peters. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Peters (Odell); his children, Nicholas (Kate), Michael (Ava) and Katherine (Luis); his grandchildren, Charlie, Henry, Clare Peters, Valona, Amela Peters and Lilyana Flores; and his sisters, Maria Scott (Barry) and Celeste Pylman. He is also survived by his extended family and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (66 Oxford Rd, New Hartford, NY 13413). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2407 Oneida St, Utica, NY 13501).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Heart Association in his honor.
