He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen Elsenbeck Smoulcey; and his brother Wayne Smoulcey. He is survived by: his father Thomas Smoulcey, Sr.; and also Bonnie Backman (Kevin Knight) of New Hartford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
