She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Burth and Pearl Montena Burth; her son Thomas W. Brassel; her great great grandchild Emalyn Brassel; and her sister Joan Trask.
She is survived by: her husband John Brassel; her children, Kathleen Glenn (Geoffrey) of Clinton and John B. Brassel (Karen); and her grandchildren, Dawn Roller (Mark) of Barneveld, Kimberley Glenn of Syracuse, Mark Glenn (Melissa) of New Hartford, Adam Brassel, Jason Brassel (Jennifer), Jillian and Janelle Brassel. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
