With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie R. Kolanko of New Hartford, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Kolanko; her brothers, Richard and Thomas Colosimo; and her great grandchildren, McKenna and Delaney Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Kolanko (Laurie) of Mount Joy, PA, Wayne Kolanko of Kinderhook, NY, Daryl Kolanko (Shelley) of Potsdam, NY and Melissa Wojciak (Paul) of Poughkeepsie, NY.; her grandchildren, Kelly Myers (Ben), Megan Brown (Aaron), Emily Kolanko, Mikayli and Owen Wojciak; her great grandchildren, Natalie Myers, Eliot and Dorothy Brown; her cousin John Wisniewicz; and her close friends, Linda DeCarlo, Grace Wu (Ollie), LutheranCare and Marie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services (13 Oxford Rd, New Hartford, NY 13413). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
