She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin J. Jones and Anita Mae Young Jones. She is survived by: her husband John Strom Friedel, Jr. (Jack); her children, Jennifer Jones Friedel, Donald A. Edmunds of New Hartford, John Strom III, Kristin Thurheimer Friedel of Whitesboro, Jeffrey Scott, Christine Murray Friedel of New Hartford, James Christopher and Jennifer Freytag Friedel of New Hartford; her grandchildren, Matthew Theodore Edmunds (Anne Marie Orsino), Sarah Friedel Edmunds Colón (Christopher J. Colón), Marykate Friedel Edmunds, John Strom Friedel IV, Grace Bernadette Friedel, Abagail Murray Friedel, Emma Kathryn Friedel, Ella Rourke Friedel, Daniel John Friedel and Claire Siobhan Friedel; her great grandchildren, Liam August, Madeline Elizabeth, Theo Alan Edmunds and Oliver Jack Colón; her sisters, Phyllis Jones of North Carolina and Rita Kennerknecht of Utica; and her brother-in-law Salvatore W. Coriale (Sam) of Clinton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
