He was predeceased by: his wife Frances; and his brother Harry Gabiger. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph C. Gabiger and Helene Gabiger (Decyk); his children, RoseAnn Soukey, John Soukey, Joseph Gabiger, Linda Gabiger and David Gabiger; his grandchildren, Amra Gabiger, Victor Gabiger, Samantha Gabiger and Kaley Gabiger; his sister-in-law Carol Gabiger; and his cousin Joanna Gabiger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
