He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Callahan and Agnes Callahan; and his brother Paul Callahan. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Callahan (Linder); his children, Colleen Matthews (Scott) of Barneveld, NY, Patrick Callahan of Rome, NY, Sean Callahan of Holland Patent, NY and Michael Croghan (Tina Driskell) of Herndon; his grandchildren, Serena Callahan, Maura Matthews, Teagan Matthews, Phinean Callahan and Mikolai Callahan; his siblings, Steven Callahan (Wendy), Patricia Mitchell, Sheila Corr, Mary Williams (James), Eileen Cougan (Peter) and Edward Jr. Callahan (Shelly); his sisters-in-law, Ellen Pietruch (Thomas) and Isabelle Linder; his pet Katie; his close friends, Arline and Dick Harvey; and his caregiver Christine Green. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
