He was predeceased by: his father John Wrape; his stepfather Charles Raehm; his stepson Sean T. Reilly; and his close friend Bob Calhoun. He is survived by: his mother Janet Hamlin Raehm; his wife Karen Rosato; his children, Jared Wrate (Jerrica) of Clinton, Kimberly Wrate of New Hartford and Ashley Usmail (Scott) of Rome; his grandchildren, Maxen, Hudson Usmail and Brooklyn Wrate; his siblings, Christine Graziano (Ralph) of Utica, Greg Wrate (Nancy) of New Hartford, Kevin Wrate (Tracy), Tracy Curran (Frank) of Albany and Amy Soler of New York City; his stepmother Gretchen Wrape of New Hartford; and his friend Joe Betrus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services (13 Oxford Rd, New Hartford, NY 13413). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (66 Oxford Rd, New Hartford, NY 13413). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mt Olivet Cemetery (70 Wood Rd, Whitesboro, NY 13492).
