He is survived by: his father Edward Ariel; his wife Cathy Tomaszewski Conklin; his mother Marilyn Conklin; his sons, Carl Conklin and William R. Conklin; his stepson John Pierce; his sisters, Dolly Conklin-Andalis (Marc) and Sue Conklin; his niece Phoebe; and his nephew Jack.
