He is survived by: his wife Thelma; his sister Lavonne; his children, Denise Tonic, James Bertholf (Patricia) and Deborah Mills (Andrew); and his grandchildren, Susan Graves, Ricky Bertholf, Sonya Blade (Cliff), Richard Hitt, Christa Tonic (John), Joseph Bertholf (Karen), Cassandra Mills (Matthew), Brynn McKeon (Corey) and James Bertholf (Sophia). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
