He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jean and Frederick Charles Hastings of New City. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Treavor and Christine; and his grandson Jaxon. He is also survived by extended family that includes his siblings, in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that a donation be made in his name to United Hospice of Rockland.
