He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Ryan and Elizabeth Ryan; and his brother William "Bill" Ryan. He is survived by: his children, Rosemary (Brad Weidel), Stephen Ryan and Eileen Ryan; his grandchildren, Erin, Bryn, Grace Weidel, Sara and Nicolas Tabio; his sister Lillian "Marie" Rice; and his siblings-in-law, Grace Sullivan and Peter (Jean Daly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
