She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rebecca O'Brien and Morgan O'Brien; her husband Michael G. McCabe; her children, Gerianne (Dan), Becky (Pat), Mary, Kathy, Peggy, Mike (Meg), Rita, Eileen (Michael), Barbara, Kevin (Kristen) and Brian; her grandchildren, Sean, Danny, Kate, Rachel, Erin, Timmy, Alanna, Grace, Colleen, Morgan, Mike, Gavin, Aidan, Kelly and Fiona; and her daughter Patty. She was also cherished by her 15 grandchildren.
