He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patrick "Paddy" and Marie Rooney (Cunningham) of Donaghmoyne; his son Patrick E. Rooney of New City, NY; his siblings, Liam, Brian Rooney of Ireland and Kathleen "Kitty" Bachorik of Highland Mills, NY.; his wife Annie "Nancy" Rooney (Keegan); his children, Linda and Brian; his daughter-in-law Darcie; his siblings, Tony, Tom, Noel, Brendan, Christina, Anne, Philomena and Margaret; his granddaughters, Jacqueline, Kassandra, Victoria, Jessica and Shay; his great grandchild Adrienne; and his godchildren, Colleen, Christine, Damien and Shay. He was also cherished by several brother-in- laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
