He was predeceased by: his mother Esther Skarli (Halldis); and his half-sister Aagot Simonsen. He is survived by: his sister Solveig L. Farkas; his daughter Esther J. Mayz, RN; his grandsons, Kurtis A. Mayz, MD and Daniel F. Mayz (Nichole Mayz); his great grandchildren, Easton and Delaney; his son Stanley O. Skarli, MD (Melinda J. Skarli); and his grandchildren, Hannah E. Skarli, Christian O. Skarli and Gabriel H. Skarli. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
