With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Ferruggia of New City, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ferruggia and Josephine Ferruggia. He is survived by: his sisters, Josephine and Vivian (Philip); his nieces, Joanne Celano (Louis Celano), Lisa Galanti (Sal) and Tina Gagliano; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Christina, Lauren, Salvatore, Ashley and Vincent; and also, Reese, Lenna, Reina, Lorenzo and Landon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
