She was predeceased by: her husband Michael P. Gallagher. She is survived by: her children, Michael Gallagher (Kathleen), Kelly Neeck (Edward) and Timothy Gallagher (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Matthew Gallagher (Kaitlin), Katherine Monteith (Robert), Kyle Neeck (Stephanie), Connor Neeck (Allison) and Brianne Morales (Austen); her great grandchildren, Finn, Maeve, Aubrey, Jack and Ellie; her great-nephews, Ryan and Brendan Zohar; and her great-niece Lindsay Zohar.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home (321 S Main St, New City, NY 10956). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to the American Cancer Society.
