Carroll Stein Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carroll Stein (New City, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clotilde Pendergast and John Pendergast of New York, NY; and her significant other William Stein (Bill). She is survived by: her daughters, Carroll Carris (Paul) of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, Eileen Peterson (Harold) of Stony Point, NY, Mary Cohen (Steve) of Hunter, NY, Patricia Stein of Pound Ridge, NY and Linda Stein of New City, NY.; her grandchildren, Marie, Margaret, Colleen, Monica, Cathleen, Ben, Michael, Mark, Matthew and Max; and her great grandchildren, Anderson, Colette, Brayden, Daniel, Sophie, Sydney, Layla and Aiden William.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home (321 S Main St, New City, NY 10956). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Marian Shrine (174 Filors Ln, Stony Point, NY 10980).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marian Shrine, 174 Filors Lane, Stony Point, NY 10980 in Carroll Stein's name, and would be much appreciated.
