He is survived by: his parents, Tony Aponte and Kimberly Aponte (Morales); his children, Jayden and Brooke Aponte; the mother of his children Kristine; his grandmothers, Ana Aponte and Lucy Morales; his brother Christian Aponte; and his nieces and nephews, Jayvian, Jude Aponte and Erich Knuth. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his children's college fund.
