She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Palmer and Irma Palmer (Fleming); her sisters, Mary Lou Watson and Mary Jane Conway; her adoptive parents, Leah Coons and Clarence Coons; her brother Stanley Coons; her son Douglas Van Kampen; her husband Stephen L. Burton; and her son Wayne Van Kampen.
She is survived by: her former husband Douglas Van Kampen; her daughters, Cynthia Giammattei (Mark), Sandra van Kampen and Michelle Van Kampen; her daughter-in-law Gail Van Kampen; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cavallo (Sal), Kassandra Parks (Randall), Kathryn Parks (Rick), Mike Van Kampen (Shaina), Elisha Van Kampen (Gary) and DeAndre Van Kampen; and her great grandchildren, Savannah, Harley, Emma, Ronald and Wyatt. She is also survived by stepsons, nephews, nieces and dear friends.
