He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond M. Cole, Sr. and Beatrice Cole (Beadle); his grandsons, Chad and Kurt Bertholf; and his son-in-law Marvin "Mike" Bertholf.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Cole (Houghtaling); his children, Ellen Bertholf of North Carolina, Lorraine Dolgas (Thomas) of Vermont, Michael B. Cole (Lori) of Neversink and Wendy Cole-Dean of Loch Sheldrake; and his siblings, Lee Cole of Florida and Pat MacArthur of Ferndale. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
