In loving memory of George J. Dexheimer of Neversink, New York, who departed this world on February 26, 2025 at the age of 95. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though George may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dexheimer (Jinny) and Elizabeth Werner Dexheimer; and his sister Margaret Sherwood of Loudonville, NY.. He is survived by: his children, Donna Myers (William), Christine Wegrzyn (Lori), Susan Manning (Paul), Alice Karsko (Mike), Tim Dexheimer (Tina) and Tom Dexheimer (Michelle). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and was loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A masonic service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (115 West St, Liberty, NY 12754). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (24 Chestnut St, Liberty, NY 12754).
