She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Smith and Laura Gray Smith; her husband Franklin M. Dean; her son Richard; her granddaughter Jessie Miceli-Dean; and her brothers, Howard Smith, Gene Smith, Willis Smith, Sherman Smith and Bob Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Dean (Wendy Dean) of Neversink, NY, Michael Dean (JoAnn) of Neversink, NY and Arden Dean (Meigan) of Neversink, NY; her grandchildren, Jessica Dean, Natalia Dean Kent (Chris), Joseph Dean, Collin Dean (Penny Robinson), Tristan Dean, Shane Dean, Dylan Dean and Bri Cole; her siblings, Ruth Evans of Sun City and Gerald Smith (Kathleen) of Manassas; and her sister-in-law May Smith of Woodbourne, NY. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons.
