He was predeceased by: his uncle Bill Newcomb; and his aunt Sarah Newcomb. He is survived by: his wife LouAnn Ellis (Haas); his children, Connie Hemmer (Terrell) of Hendersonville, NC, Naomi Rokaw (Eric) of Hendersonville, NC, Ernie Curless (Heidi) of Grahamsville, NY, Katrina Matthews (Matt) of Manassas, VA and Janet Calangelo of Narrowsburg, NY; his siblings, George Ellis and Suzanne Krom; and his grandchildren, Zackrey, Ian, Dillon, Dalton, Allanha, Cheyenne, Britney, Jenna, Trey, Brendon and Adrianna. He is also survived by great grandchildren; Many loved nieces and nephews; and numerous dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Dale can be made out to either St. Jude or Hospice of Sullivan County and Orange County.
