He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debra Ward; his children, Robert Vail Jr., Jeanne Hawkins Bishop, Christopher Ward, Kami Horsley, Matt Ward and Anna Ward Graham; and his grandchildren, Robert III, Derek, Sam Bishop, Troy, Nikita, Glen Conway, Corrine Conway-Desimone, Briana Conway-O'Connor, Zoey, Curren Horsley, Braden and Matty Ward.
