It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Virginia Southwick of Nedrow, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Miller and Eleanor Virginia Miller Smith (Mills); her sister Nancy Miller Hopkins; and her son Stephen E. Southwick. She is survived by: her husband Lee H. Southwick; her sons, Roger Southwick (Debbie) of Cortland, Ronald Southwick (Elizabeth) of Nedrow and David Southwick (Debra) of Alamogordo, NM; her daughter-in-law Diana Southwick of Albion, ME; and her brothers, William Miller (Debbie) of Chittenango, Franklin Smith of Fayetteville, Mark Miller (Kathy) of Syracuse and Grant Miller (Laurie) of Auburn. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
