Thomas O'Brien Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas O'Brien (Nassau, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Thomas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Thomas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frances O'Brien and Carmina Louise Petro; and his wife Patricia Ann Marek. He is survived by: his sister Louise (Peter Nelson); and his cousin Chris Hirtler. He is also survived by three sons, and a number of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home (11 Elm St, Nassau, NY 12123). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church (26 Church St, Nassau, NY 12123). The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home (11 Elm St, Nassau, NY 12123).
