He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Hacker and Mary Hacker; his stepdaughters, Deborah Hiles and Susan Ellers; his sister Bertha Rivers; his nephew Steve Kelly Jr.; and also Rebel Bridge.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Ann Hacker; his children, Donna Goodall (Michael), Dawne Kelly (Steven), Denise Leggett (Louie Cardella) and Joseph Hacker (Brenda); his stepson Terry Ellers (Beth); his son-in-law Lenny Hiles; his siblings, Martha Rowe and Thomas Hacker (Michele); his grandchildren, Erica, Joseph Hacker, Jr. (Bekah), John Leggett (Rachel), Tiffany Guida (Ed), Jennifer Ellers and Sarah Richards (Chuck); his great grandchildren, Karleigh, Kenna, Adalie and Walter; and also, Richard Ellers and Joan Broughton.
