He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth; his sons, Thomas and Douglas; and his stepsons, John and Daniel Bills.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Montcrieff; his children, Arthur Lagendyk, Raymond "Scotty" Montcrieff (Barbara) and Suzanne Montcrieff (Joe Siragusa); his daughter-in-law Katherine Montcrieff; and his stepchildren, Nancy Bills (David Rocco), Patrick "Cud" Bills (Ann) and Peter Bills. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Those wishing to honor Ray with a charitable donation are asked to consider the East Rochester Ambulance in his memory.
