She was predeceased by: her daughter Barbara. She is survived by: her significant other Vito Meliota; her children, Frank Meliota and Tina Cortese (Gabriel); her grandchildren, Angela, Frank Meliota, Christopher, Barbara Cortese and Danny Cortese; her brother Howard Friedman; her sister-in-law Maude; her sister Sharon Miller; her brother-in-law Herb; and her pets, Luna and Sol. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (728 W Nyack Rd, West Nyack, NY 10994). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Anthony's Parish Church (34 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954). A burial was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Raymond's Cemetery (2600 Lafayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10462).
