With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael E. Rood of Munnsville, New York, born in Canastota, New York, who passed away on May 21, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sr. Rood and Sylvia Rood (Hyland); his son Aaron M. Rood; and his siblings, Vernon "Gus" Rood, Jr. and Colleen Rood.
He is survived by: his daughter Christiana Rood (Derrick Baker) of Munnsville; his grandchildren, Marlie Brummer and Elliot Baker; and his siblings, Scott Rood of Munnsville, Gail (Daniel Eanniello), Charlene (Paul Lawless) and Shawn (Gary Meyer). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In his memory, contributions may be made to the Munnsville Volunteer Fire Department, 5210 S. Main Street, Munnsville, NY 13409.
