With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Oakes Skivington of Mumford, New York, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Oakes and Gordon Oakes; and her husband William. She is survived by: her daughter Erin Heuer (Michael); her grandchildren, Mason and Shilo Heuer; her son David Skivington (Christine); her grandchildren, Ava, Keegan and Jackson Skivington; and her brother Marshall Oakes (Christine). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Nancy's memory to the Big Springs Museum, 3095 Main St., Caledonia, NY 14423.
