With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roderick A Young (Mount Vernon, New York), born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on March 21, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Barbara (Collin), Paul and Cora. He is survived by: his wife Sonia Young; his siblings, Joseph (Pauline), Stephen, Judy (Roy) and Margaret; his uncle Kenneth Riley (Bunny); his children, Yvonne (Chris), Ian, Terry (Jill), Marlo (Monaqui) and Shaun; and his grandchildren, Tia, Christopher, Skylar, Morgan, Maywin, Maxwell, Stone and Angel. He is also survived by great grandchild and his many loving cousins, nephews and nieces, other relatives and many dear friends.
In memory of his life, his grandchildren ask that you make a donation to the Rick Young Mangrove Forest where they are planting 1, 000 trees in his honor with many other children to address climate change (donate via http://www.worldviewusa.org).
