She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Pucillo and Amalia Pucillo; and her siblings, Carmela (Michael Blaise), Dusolina Pucillo, Louis (Dorothy Pucillo), Josephine (James Franzese), Emilio (Josephine Pucillo) and Merilyn Pucillo.
She is survived by: her husband John J. Roque; her children, John (Nicole Roque) and Michele Roque (Kamel Tarazi); her grandchildren, John, Samuel, Luke, Mark, Carmella, Jasmine and Maleia; and her brothers, Anthony and Peter Pucillo (Catherine).
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Rita's name to Destination: College, an organization based in her beloved Mount Vernon.
