She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Karen), David (Michele), Richard (Donna) and Gary; her grandchildren, Anya, Marcus (Damaris), Nicole, Christopher (Caroline), Jason, Sasha, Taylor (Mia), Alex and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Audra, Miles, Tracey and Rhea; her nieces, Larene LaSonde and Debra Francis; her nephew Larry Brown; and her godchildren, Karen Thomas, David Green and Marshall Taylor. She is also survived by grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Phyllis gathered regularly with a close-knit group of fellow retired Greenburgh teachers known as the Backyard Beauties, as they gathered in her backyard during COVID.
